The inserts are a 3 mm holder with an opening holding the coin without the use of the “ever-present” holding tabs or holding fingers that tend to obstruct the coin edges. The opening for the coin is engineered to permit snug fit applying enough friction that the coin cannot be rotated without prior removal of it. Please note that the position of the coin in the slab is intentionally placed non-symmetrically. There is nothing duller than symmetry. If you place a group of slabs in a line, there is perception of an artistic flow as a result of this off-center placement.

The Slab details – The “Leuchtturum Everslab” provided by Lighthouse. If needed, the slab can be opened to access the coin. The slab is compatible in size with the slabs used by the Coin Grading Society’s slabs dimensions and can be added to any collection of slabs.
